Last year most of us missed out on our annual Christmas parties again for the second year running, so this year we are making the most of the festive season. We have a variety of private dining spaces and large tables in the restaurant perfect for drinks receptions, festive feasting and private events.
With a prime location just a stone’s throw from Tower Bridge The Coal Shed makes a fantastic spot for large and small Christmas parties. Though popular all year round, the sleek modern interiors and punchy & hearty menu – focused around impeccably-sourced meat and fish – all cooked over fire really comes into its own in the winter months.
Inside you’ll find The Coal Shed Private Dining Room & Mezzanine located on the first floor, decked out with large spacious windows and dark wooden and green marble furniture provides the perfect area for festive fun. For those who still want the option of a drink and a chat outside, The Coal Shed also has a heated terrace area where you can enjoy a bit of fresh air without a wintery chill.
The Coal Shed London’s menu centres around freshness and quality of our meat and fish, cooked over charcoal and served with sides and sauces. Our chefs are dedicated to sourcing the best produce possible as a result, the kitchen team are able to build menus to very exacting standards, offering a wide variety of classic cuts and more unusual dishes.
Meat remains the star of the show at The Coal Shed – a blazing-hot Josper grill sears off grass-fed sirloin, fillet and ribeye steaks, as well as larger steaks for sharing, all available with your favourite sauces and sides, such as triple-cooked chips and creamed spinach.
Not a steak fan? No problem. Our wide range of dishes and passion for ingredients has led us to build a festive menu to cater for all dietary requirements. If you unsure, please don’t hesitate to get in touch – our team are on hand to build your perfect festive evening, and to harness the magic of the season.
This festive season to curate the magic of Christmas we have on offer we will have two indulgent private dining menus and a Sunday Roast menu for groups, which gives guests the choice of individual courses or a more communal dining experience with sharing courses for the table. Bespoke menus and canapés are also available upon request.
