For the first time since we first opened The Coal Shed 13 years ago, we’re going to be opening on Christmas Day and, to make our first one truly special, we’ve put together the ultimate four course Christmas Feast.
For this luxurious set menu, we’re going to be serving up some decadent first courses including Torchon of Foie Gras and Wagyu Beed Carpaccio, followed by a second course where diners can choose between Fillet of Beef Wellington, Salmon & Lobster En Croute or Butter Ball Turkey Ballotine, all served with Thyme & Garlic Roast Potatoes, Sage & Cider Roasted Carrots, French Beans, Montgomery Cheddar Cauliflower Spinach Gratin, Pigs in Blankets, Yorkshire Pudding & Roast Pan Jus.
If that wasn’t enough, we’ll be offering a board of British Cheeses, Christmas Pudding Crème Brûlée and Dark Chocolate & Cherry Namalaka, followed by a selection of Petit Fours, Sweets and Mince Pies.

As well as adding some seasonal specials to our A La Carte menus, we’ve also got three different festive group menus to be enjoyed between friends, available from 25th November through to New Year’s Eve and priced at £55, £70 and £85pp.
To get everyone in the spirit, our Executive Chef Lee Murdoch has developed some stunning new dishes for our festive events menus, using the best seasonal produce and ingredients including Clay Oven Roast Butterball Turkey, Wild Mushroom & Winter Pumpkin Wellington, and Christmas Pudding Crème Brûlée.
