Join us for a fire-fuelled night of feasting and martinis on October 29, with our friends at 58&Co. Be amongst the first to experience our private dining room, The Flamingo Social, for an unforgettable evening hosted by none other than Carmen O’Neal, the brilliant founder behind the award-winning distillery.
The evening will begin with a welcome cocktail of Lillet Gin Rickey made with 58&Co Gin, Lillet Blanc, lime and soda, which guests will enjoy whilst learning more about Carmen, the do’s and don’ts of martini making and her incredible story of founding an ethical business.
The feasting will begin with starters of Blue Prawn Toast, Smoked Baby Back Ribs, Bluefin Tuna Tostadas, Firecracker Cauliflower, and BBQ ‘Waldorf’ Scallops paired with a Classic Wet Martini made with 58&Co Gin and Noilly Prat.
The main event will consist of three prime cuts of grass-fed dry-aged beef; Bone in Prime Rib, Chateaubriand, and Sirloin on the Bone – all served with some of The Coal Shed’s classic sides including Mac & Cheese, Beef Fat Chips and Coal Fired Greens. To drink, we’ll be serving a stunning savoury martini created especially for this event – our ‘Green Oil Martini’ made with 58&Co Gin and a Green Oil which our Bar Manager Doug has created in collaboration with our Executive Chef Lee Murdoch.
The evening will close with our decadent dessert selection; Burnt Lemon Pie, Churros, Kiss at The Opera, and Medjool Date Cake, paired with our (soon to be famous) Chocolate Orange Martini made with 58&co Gin, Mandarin liquor and Creme de cacao Blanc.
Tickets are £90pp, which includes all food and cocktails. Please note: we are unable to accommodate dietary requirements or allergens for this event. The feast will be hosted family-style on a single long table in our private dining room, with all dishes served for sharing.
