The Mother of all Sundays

Even though we always know its coming, Mother’s Day seems to creep up on us every year. If you forgot to post the usual bunch of flowers, why not make this year a little more special, get ahead and book in some quality time with the woman who gave you life itself and treat her to the mother of all roasts.

We believe (perhaps biasedly) that the best way to show someone you love them is through their stomach. No, we’re not talking about through that disappointing box of fancy truffles that actually aren’t very nice and you’d rather a bar of basic chocolate instead. We’re talking through a delicious meal in a beautiful restaurant, being waited on hand-and-foot, like you know she deserves. Another equally lovely perk is that you get to enjoy it too!

Our sharing special for Mother’s Day will be Lake District Slow Roasted Smoked Shoulder of Lamb served with Yorkshire Puddings, Beef Dripping Potatoes, Carrots, Cauliflower Cheese, and Mint Salsa Verdé. The Dessert will our Braeburn Apple Crumble served with Clotted Cream or Ice Cream.

If you can’t be with her this year, why not give her the gift of a feast? We’ve got a whole range of gift vouchers and experiences available to buy through our gift shop.

We will also be offering every mother under our roof a free drink, entirely on us – just because, we appreciate every little thing they do – and its the small things that make all the difference. You know what to do…
