For the first time, The Coal Shed on North Street has a designated cocktail bar with its own bar food menu for those last minute drop-ins and casual lunches with friends. Open seven days a week from noon till late with a rotating weekly line-up of Brighton’s best DJs every Thursday – Sunday.
The cocktail menu draws inspiration from the best bars of New York and London, reimagining classics with contemporary flavours and techniques, with serves including a Dill and Pickle Martini (58&Co Triple Distilled Vodka, Dill & Pickle Brine, Noilly Prat), Apricot and Fig Margarita (Cazcabel Reposado, Lime, Fig Syrup, Apricot Brandy, Creme de Peche), Steak Washed Old Fashioned (Beef Fat Washed Evan Williams, Bitters, Salt), Cocoa Negroni (58&Co London Dry Gin, Martini Rubino, Cocao-Infused Campari) and an indulgent Fudge Espresso Martini (Burnt Faith Brandy, Coffee, Mr Blacks, Date Syrup, Roly’s Salted Chocolate Fudge).
As well as 12 signature cocktails the bar offers a designated food menu, which includes our Reuben Sandwich, Kimchi Grilled Cheese, and Steakhouse Burger, cuts of steak from our Charcoal Grill section, salads, sides and bar snacks including Buttermilk Fried Chicken, Blue Prawn Toast and Firecracker Cauliflower.
Pull up a stool at the bar or sink into one of our intimate bar tables and work your way through our signature cocktails. The best bar team in Brighton will keep you hydrated with drinks, draught beers, exceptional wines and outrageously good cocktails.
The mood will be high every night till late with Brightons best DJs on the decks Thursday through to Sunday every week.
Now let’s make some memories.
