An Evening with Ridgeview

We’re joining forces with our friends at Ridgeview for a one-night-only celebration of 6 courses of English wine and fire-cooked food on Friday 22nd August.

Hosted by Ridgeview’s award-winning Head Winemaker, Simon Roberts, the evening includes a guided tasting of six standout wines – from their elegant Blanc de Blancs 2020 to a rare Sparkling Red Reserve – each perfectly paired with dishes from our fire-led kitchen.

We’ll kick things off with a welcome glass of fizz, then dive into a spread of sharing starters: grilled scallops with corn salsa and sobrasada, beef tartare with smoked bone marrow and burrata with apricot and mint.

Next, a fish course that showcases the best of the South Coast: whole roast brill with seaweed butter, South Coast clams, fennel and Coco de Paimpol beans – rich, delicate and made for pairing.

For mains, it’s all about indulgence – prime rib and chateaubriand served sharing-style, with beef fat chips, coal-roasted greens and a summer tomato salad.

To finish? A dark chocolate tart with crème fraîche and raspberries, served alongside Ridgeview’s elegant Still Rosé.

Spaces are limited – book now to join us at the table.
