Learn MoreAt The Coal Shed London, steak is at the heart of what we do. We’re dedicated to sourcing the finest grass-fed, dry-aged beef from trusted producers across the UK, offering both generous sharing cuts and expertly grilled individual steaks, all cooked over open flame to deliver bold, unforgettable flavour.
Fire isn’t just a method here — it’s our craft. As true Masters of Fire, we’ve spent years perfecting the balance of heat, smoke, and skill to honour the quality of every cut we serve.
We take the same care with our seafood, sourcing from top coastal producers who share our commitment to quality and sustainability. Whether it’s prime beef or fresh-off-the-boat fish, our menu is a celebration of exceptional British produce, cooked simply and beautifully over coal.
For lovers of steak — and those who appreciate the magic of flame-cooked food — this is where the fire truly comes to life.

Let’s face it – The Coal Shed London was made for Sundays. For over a decade, we’ve honed our craft over fire to serve up the ultimate Sunday Roast: a 500g Roasted Salt-Aged Sirloin of Beef, piled high with garlic & thyme beef fat roast potatoes, heritage carrots baked with burnt orange, buttered garden greens, steakhouse stuffing, Yorkshire pudding, and rich pan jus. It’s a feast built for sharing, using the best local ingredients, simply and expertly prepared.
