Tucked away in the heart of Brighton, just moments from the seafront, The Coal Shed is perfectly placed for a meal that’s anything but ordinary. Whether you’re catching up with friends, marking a special occasion or simply treating yourself after a walk along the beach, our warm and welcoming restaurant offers a dining experience worth lingering over.

We’re known for our fire-led cooking and exceptional produce – grass-fed sharing steaks, dry-aged and butchered in-house, line-caught fish from South Coast day boats and seasonal vegetables cooked hot and fast over charcoal. It’s a grill-first philosophy that delivers big on flavour, every time.

Think of it as the greatest hits of our a la carte – same signature flavour, just pared back and priced to please.
