Our festive menus bring it all to the table: glazed pigs in blankets, treacle-cured salmon, whole brill with nduja butter, chateaubriand with smoked bone marrow, and our Winter Pavlova to finish. Right by Tower Bridge, The Coal Shed turns Christmas into a celebration with bite. No matter if it’s a cosy dinner or a full venue takeover for 110 guests, with our fire-crackled dishes, flowing wine and cocktails, the Coal Shed brings the heat, the sparkle, and the feast.

Tucked away upstairs, our private dining room is a smart, self-contained space for up to 14 guests on one long table or up to 20 across two. It’s fully equipped for business or pleasure — with a 54-inch Smart Art TV for presentations or photo slideshows, and enough comfort and character to host a boardroom lunch, a wedding dinner or a celebration worth toasting.

Our mezzanine wraps around the first floor and looks down over the restaurant — giving your group a bit more privacy without losing the atmosphere. Designed with group dining and events in mind, this flexible part of our London private hire venue can accommodate up to 30 guests for a seated meal or 45 standing for drinks and bites.
Planning something a little larger? For groups over 30, we can open the adjoining private dining room to give you exclusive use of the entire first floor — perfect for company celebrations, big birthday dinners, or special occasions with a few more names on the guest list. With space for up to 50 guests seated, this is where the big moments happen — surrounded by fire-cooked food, great wine, and your favourite people.
